NOT BY POWER, NOT BY STRENGTH BUT BY MY SPIRIT

Day 23

We made a quote, a few Posts back, that said, “IF YOU KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ALWAYS DO – YOU WILL KEEP GETTING WHAT YOU ALWAYS GET”, which means, in order for you to change the way things are going, you NEED to do things differently. We believe that this Blog has pointed out some ways that you can do that. We would like to add another saying which is similar but is designed to take you, who are willing, to a higher level.
“IF YOU WANT WHAT OTHERS DON’T HAVE – YOU NEED TO DO WHAT OTHERS WON’T DO”. Simply put, you need to stop what you’re doing, take a serious look at your options, PRAY, and ask God for direction, and then follow His lead. You need to take a leap of faith, and set out in whatever direction God gives you, and trust Him. Sometimes, He doesn’t change your direction at all, but shows you a different way to do what you’re doing.
Let us put it another way; you struggle and find it next to impossible to go on, you’ve reached a point where you just can’t do it anymore, you have no strength left, you’re tired, fed up, can’t go on but you need to do so much more and you have dreams about the things you would like to have that are just out of reach. This is the point where you turn to God and tell Him, honestly, that you’ve had it, you have nothing left and you need His help.
The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:10 (MSG) – Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. So, in our weakness, God can show His strength through us, if we let Him. He promises that, if we let Him work through us, and give Him the Glory for it, that we will accomplish much more than we ever could on our own.
John 14:12 (NIV) – Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me, will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
All God asks of us, is to give Him the best we have, and then allow Him to use it to do what we couldn’t even imagine was possible. Let us give you an example. There is a story, in the Bible, of Jesus being followed by a multitude of people; well over 5,000 men, along with their families; and, He had been teaching them all day. It was evening and they were in a place where there was no food readily available. Some of the Disciples grew concerned that the people needed food and offered to go to a nearby village and buy food for them. Jesus instructed them to have the people sit down in rows, in an orderly fashion, and asked if anyone had some food. A young boy came forward and offered Him his 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread.
Now you need to get this; here was a young boy, willing to give up his own food, in order to help feed all these people, talk about faith. It’s amazing how an innocent mind can believe the impossible, and yet, Jesus told us that, unless we come to Him as a child, we shall never inherit the Kingdom of God. In other words, we need to believe that nothing is impossible; the boy had no idea that his small sacrifice could ever be enough to feed everyone, he was simply being obedient and willing to share.
As it turns out, when Jesus took the food, and Prayed to His Father in Heaven, and Blessed the food, there was sufficient enough to feed everyone; and, when it was done, the Disciples grabbed some baskets to pick up the leftovers and there was enough to fill 12 baskets, amazingly; one for each of the Disciples.
You may be going through some things, possibly things that keep recurring and, in the natural, it may appear there is no solution; maybe even worse, you feel like a failure because you let it happen, over and over again. Don’t despair, Even though we may not necessarily have the solution for you; if you join, with us, in admitting that all of us are too weak in our own strength to deal with the problem, and ask Jesus to be your strength and to guide you to the solution, and then completely trust in Him, He will show you something you never thought of before and will cause people and situations to move in a way that will bring the solution for you.
The Word of God says, “NOT BY POWER, NOT BY STRENGTH BUT BY GOD’S SPIRIT”. With the help of the Holy Spirit of God, guiding us, we have put together a teaching that, we believe, is very helpful; in guiding others to follow the path that lies before them, in a more productive manner, and without fear. We believe this Blog is written in such a way as to instill confidence, in the reader, to go out and share the Love of God, with others; in a way that makes it comfortable and not stressful and, at the same time, producing the desired results.
With only 7 days to go in our 30 day challenge, we find ourselves looking at a figure of 4,194,304 people that you would have brought into the Kingdom following our prescribed plan, bringing your total to 8,388,607 new friends in all. Only God can make this happen, not you, not us, but together with Him and by His Spirit, we will see this dream become a reality.

God Bless and we’ll catch ya on the flip side.
